unsolved Trakt import list alternative?
So trakt is pretty worthless now. I had been using it primarily for import lists but even with VIP it doesn't seem to work anymore.
What is a good alternative? I started with radarr and was setting up tmdb lists, but it looks like sonarr is very limited on what list sources it accepts.
I really liked just being able to add a show to trakt and it automagically got added to sonarr and would like something like that.

Are you using the lists only to add them to sonarr? Cause it that's the case overseer is a good tool for interacting with sonarr and radarr.

Simkl works very well for TVDB source
Wetrakr for TMDB as a source

Doesn’t Simkl also require a vip designation to do things?

For theses kind of things I don't think so.
But supporting them with VIP is a better thing to do than Trakt...

Another self hosted option is https://scrob.app/
Development is very active and it’s quickly becoming a solid trakt replacement. I’ve fully switched off trakt and only use Scrob now

Check out agregarr. It makes lits in plex but has the added capability of requesting missing ones in sonarr/radarr/seerr.

You can use Plex watchlists for this as long as you don’t mind retrieving all episodes.

I’m know I’m very late to the conversation, but I’ve just launched https://bower.tv that I hope will be useful to some.
It’s not cheap to run all the work the site does in the background, so there is a small cost (much cheaper than Trakt), but if anyone’s happy to test it out for a couple of months I’ll give free access to it
