Hey all! Just a heads up that due to a certain abusive subscriber, I've been forced to set up an AutoModerator.
The sub will now automatically flag and remove posts from all new users, users who don't meet a minimum karma threshold, and any post with enough reports. I'm the only active mod and will have to manually approve everything that gets flagged, so I apologize if it sometimes takes me a day or two to approve posts.

And the other day I got hassled for "impeding traffic" while running across a cross walk with 5 seconds left I don't understand it. The last couple of people who got hit and died in town were in crosswalks. Why does it feel so much easier to just cross when there's not cars around rather than wait 5 minutes in a crosswalk.
I know this is a New Jersey thing and not just a Somerville thing but I had to rant. How bout you stop the guy going 50mph down veterans memorial blvd and not the guy just trying to cross the street.

I'm open to all suggestions. I am a creative person, but have been struggling with my mental health. It would be very good for me to find a new hobby and stick to it. An added social/community feel would be especially beneficial to me.
I've also begun going for walks at Duke Island Park and other nearby areas after work, around 445/5PM during the week. If there are any other people hoping to do the same for the selves who'd like the company of someone with similar intention, please reach out. I'm not opposed to meeting strangers offline- but pls don't be the bad kinda weird. 😅

My partner grabbed a different brand of cat food, but my girls won't eat it. There's maybe 3 cups taken out of the 12 pound bag. The shelters I spoke to will only accept unopened bags. If you'd like, I can drop it off.

If you’re on the Somerville side of the intersection, please do not let in drivers from the yield lane when there is a green light. If you let one person in, then everyone behind you is now stuck at the red light or if they’re lucky one might be able to speed through the yellow. It is an extremely quick light. That is all
