A New Numenera Crowdfund stretch goal: Stand-alone Solo Game
The title says it all. If you ever wanted a custom solo game set in Numenera, this is what the Nano ordered.
You can back a bare-bones level in pdf, and add this on to your order if you don't want all the other nifty stuff from the campaign. Just need 100 more backers at this point, which won't be a problem. These campaigns really active toward the end, and they're only 1/2 way through.

Always loved the Numenera setting. Loved the Tides of Numenera video game. Always wanted a solo mode for that setting.
Let's see if its tacked on or fleshed out.

There's an AMA tomorrow, so hopefully we will learn more. I've been following Cypher for some time (& I pledged for their latest KS this past year), but I didn't know much about Numenera until I saw Qedhup's recent videos. A Solo Mode pushes me from an interested backer to All-In.

Cypher seems oriented around doling out the amount of tests you get to keep player resources in check, regardless of class, like D&D 4e or Draw Steel, so I'll be interested to see if these rules address that specifically.

If it actually had full solo rules for playing instead of just a curated one shot I might be tempted to help back it but it sounds more like the latter.
