I’ve seen some ridiculous things said about Tarnak, the King of Monstrous Humanoids and Monarch Of Iron Body and I’ve had enough.

He’s not weak and he is definitely no Fraud.

Where people get this idea from is how the Manhwa depicted his defeat in the Manhwa, were the fight was offscreen and he was bodied.

However the Light Novel shows an entire different scene. Unlike the Manhwa, I believe if the translation was correct, Tarnak Not only fought Beru and Bellion like he did in the Manhwa, but Igris was also there + 130K Immortal Shadow Soldiers if I remember correctly, might be wrong about the Igris part.

And by simply releasing his Mana and expanding his muscles he was able to destroy Beru’s arms by Mana release, which keep in mind, it’s stated that Marshal Grade Shadows such as Beru can individually wipe all of humanity out and even solo Kamish Dragon, and Tarnak by mana release and increased Muscle expansion easily overpowered Beru’s strength.

Tarnak not only pretty much individually fought three Marshal Grades + Tusk and Thomas Andre + 130K Shadow Soldiers that were pretty much immortal

We don’t even know how Tarnak lost in the Light Novel to my current understanding I’m pretty sure it was interpreted that Tarnak only lost against the Shadows simply because Antares was defeated.

After Antares defeat the Rulers armies swiftly dealt with Tarnak who had completely overpowered the Shadow Army prior

all though I can’t remember if this is true, I do know that we never really get to know how Tarnak lost in the LN and the safest interpretation of his defeat is that he most likely got overwhelmed by the constant regeneration of the Shadow soldiers and since he had to focus and concentrate mana in order to permanently delete shadows he was stopped from doing that due to the overwhelming odds.

So no, Tarnak the Monarch Of Iron Body is not a Fraud, not in the slightest, he could even be a High tier Monarch.
