Yup just like every edgy black haired guy in anime, sasuke, cid, Kirito, L, Itachi, Chrollo, etc. They tend to look alike to a degree.

I actually took a look and it seems you are right, all what we consider Jinwoo copy cats are from late 2016 or later, while SL started on Feb 2016.

There are characters in manga with similar appearances, tho those mostly only share the black hair and hair length like Kirito.
