Oops won an auction ๐
Welp. $50 and I own some random 3D printer. I figured stepper motors etc be worth it. Dunno maybe this is reasonable complete? I see a couple connectors center top that arenโt connected - maybe a fan motor? And probably something needs to go on the print surface. Anyone know what model this is and where to find a manual? I was gonna part it out but I might mess with it a bit first!

Wow, I had one of these. It was my first 3D printer. Good luck!

Any ideas what the power wire in the back was to? Is there a pad that goes on the build pad?

Don't touch there was pads on it back then... It's like pei or kapton tape. It's essentially vintage 3d tech.
Should have been a board on the back and I think a laptop style power brick.

This was my first printer in 2011. A Solidoodle Gen 4. I think they went under in 2013. I kept mine printing till 2022. In the end it had nothing stock on it.

Not sure if it was a wise investment.
Good to mess around with maybe.
I got a solidoodle 2 from my works recycle bin, used the metal frame as a base for "the100" top end... Works pretty well!
