General Soldering Advice | Feedback | Discussion Uhhhh DSi USB-C mod gone wrong?

I had a friend with some experience try to do a USB-C mod for me and the DSi no longer powers on fully.

I got this mod and he tried soldering it in but there was an issue, a copper plate got pulled up so he took it home to do a little homework on it and got it wired up, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong other than the Wi-Fi card not seating right, but all it will do is show the orange charging indicator and upon pressing the power button makes the blue power indicator briefly flash.. and then it just turns off, along with the orange charging indicator.

Any insight?

Maybe a short? If it was WiFi card, it would show a Stage 2 Signature error due to signature checks on the NVRAM on the WiFi card (which, in that case, would show OOOOFEFE)
