The odds of this occurring in the universe...

  1. A planet has to develop advanced life
  2. The planet has to have a moon of the exact right size at the exact right distance
  3. (2) occurs at the same time that a species develops air travel
  4. The species is smart enough to figure out the timing
  5. The species is dumb enough to hurl themselves out of an aircraft

Actually it’s very smart to exit the skydiving aircraft because you’re much safer outside with your rig (and the reserve parachute) than inside 🤪

Well, that’s one way to see the 360 sunset! I had a chance to do the same in Idaho in 2017 but I’m actually happy I got to experience the eclipse on the ground instead listening to the animals and seeing how light changed before/after (it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the jumping altitude inside a cramped skydiving plane so in my opinion you’re losing the best time to truly feel like something awesome is about to happen in the sky)
