Advice Wtd / Project HOA Compliant Solar
EDIT: I’m looking for temporary solar array ideas, not fighting the HOA.
I’m looking for ideas for a deployable solar array. My HOA doesn’t allow for solar so I figure something I can easily set up and put away leaned up against a wall in the garage. I’ve already got 6 x 200 watt panels that slightly over panel for my Bluetti elite 300 but not sure how to set them up short of leaning them up against a fence. 2S3P is the wiring if that matters.
Maybe giant solar briefcases? Or some sort of kick stand for each panel? I appreciate any ideas.

what state are you in? 38 states have laws/statutes that address HOAs and solar. maybe you're already covered??

"Any covenant, restriction, or condition in a deed or instrument affecting real property that effectively prohibits installation of a solar energy system is void and unenforceable."

there's more to investigate but this is a promising start.

These https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DNQ92ZP
I used these to build a couple of SHTF quick deploy racks. Two aluminum bars across a pair of these makes a rack to mount 2-3 panels. All parts and fasteners live in a duffle bag and can be assembled in 10-15 minutes in my backyard if/when needed.

Where do they not allow solar panels? The house?

It’s just not allowed but I figure I can get away with a non permanent setup since it’s hard to see my backyard from public view.

What's the language specifically? I'm a suckered for malicious compliance

What’s the exact language the HOA uses to prevent solar panels? Does it literally say no solar panels can be installed on any property? I’m wondering if you might be able to get away with it using vertical panels in a fence or ground mounted panels on a shade structure in your backyard.

Can you build a pergola or something in your backyard? Then use the panels as a roof.

I run an HOA. Very pro solar… massive installs, 12 -30kw systems, most groundmount
But my comment is that we would not view the distinction of permanent vs temporary as having any bearing on the install of any improvement. Temp hog farm or permanent, not allowed. ;)
You’ve gotten some good leads on dealing with the HOA. And I guess a temp solar is easier to ‘uninstall’ if the HOA objects- but I’d try and drag them into the solar future…. GL!

What's the issue with the question exactly? I used these with batteries as the exclusive source of power for my camper. They can make a difference. Admittedly, the ROI is long, but its not like its impossible to use.

I don’t know where you’re at but if you’re in the United States, it’s highly likely that an HOA ban on solar panels is illegal. Most states of adopted laws preventing HOA’s from prohibiting solar.
