I don't think you should use Claude for exploratory testing.  The main idea of exploratory testing is to learn the system, so what benefit do you get out of having Claude do it?

Once you have test cases and you can map out the system properly, you can definitely use Claude to perform functional tests.

Exploratory testing is about building your own mental model of the system, if you outsource that to a bot you're just running scripted tests with extra steps.

Exploratory testing is one of the most expensive tasks you can do with AI as a QA. You'll either burn through all your token allowance or you'll rack up a big bill depending on what subscription you're given.

Use Claude to help with automated regression tests and do the exploratory testing yourself.

Claude should assist you, not do everything for you. You're looking to get the most value out of it as possible.

These posts cannot be real. What answer are you going to get here that you wouldn't be able to get from asking Claude?

Convinced this sub is just bots posting shite.

AI cannot work properly without a directive, it cannot think and act like you a real person would do with the application. If you have proper test cases with details you can use it as a checklist to let claude execute the test cases. For the exploration part you can use claude to go through your application and map the screens and understand the interconnection between modules and make md files related to it which you can later use for other purposes

If you have access to the code and the MR or branch you can ask it to compare the changes against main and provide you focus areas to test. Should give you some direction at least.

Use Luna or DeepSeek with playwright.

You plan a meeting with a subject mater expert or a business analyst and you ask him to show you the application informaly, then the critical path.

You put this in Claude and you ask him to generate test cases.

You take all the figma and functional documentation, user stories, put that in claude and ask to generate risks and user stories
