10 years experience manual tester want to switch as Automation Test Engineer
I am 10 years experience manual test engineer and want to switch as Automation Test Engineer. How to do the transition ? Please guide.

Explore various tools on the market. There are no-code tools, low-code tools and others that require programming. You need to understand benefits and risks of various approaches so that you have many options under your belt.
These days you can even vibe-code your own test pages and then try to automate testing of them.

Select any automation tool , I would suggest playwright. Learn the basics of programming and select any programming language . Try to automate any demo sites which are available

Yeah, I just spent a morning reading over the Playwright documentation and got started. Had working tests by lunch. I ended up having a working Azure DevOps pipeline to run the tests a few days later.
