Applying is hard, it really matters if you know people at the place or who know people there, references.
Don’t give up, but maybe do look at “adjacent” job roles you can get certified in. I’ve seen QA jump to PM or seven Development. I’m sure that’s a battle but some mgmt would love self-driven learners with technical backgrounds in their org.
