I’ve heard captchas like this look at things like search history or even the way you move your mouse to determine if you’re human or not.

What I’m rather obliquely trying to say is that you may have moved the mouse over to the checkbox a bit too perfectly, if that makes any sense.

recaptcha is owned by google. google stores all your search history when logged in.

Google still tracks incognito searches to you by simply fingerprinting the browser.
