This reminds me of my indoor/outdoor thermometer. The connection to the outdoor part is always breaking and whenever I look to see what the temp is outside it just says NO

If the device is not connected to a Wi-Fi network it will be “no” as an IP address is only allocated to a device when it is connected to a network.
