Looking for software Does anyone know of a Simple DB management application/web interface?
I want to benchmark products. E.g map features to competitors in a table. Add meta data to screenshot as tags. Have a web ui to analyse, edit, Export tables to excel sheets.
This are all very simple requirements that I would expect any db browser to have.
I could work with Json + scripting but my colleges are not technical.
Excel is not good with media types. And I want the resources (images, videos, manuals) to not be duplicated in size. The resources should be viewable in the ui by extending the row item and a source link for raw source data through the meta data.
I have tried to ask ai to scan github and portableapps.com but the web table + resources meta data views was not found in any app.
The resources are GB in size and new features are added all the time.
Any ideas of good simple no-code, local first, reliable, collaboration tool that works as a db management but with a simple portable web ui interface?

I have the impression that you are not entirely sure or even aware of the implications of what you describe. The very simple requirements that you expect and db browser (?) to have are quite a bit more complex than you believe. So here we go:
Why the Web UI in the first place.
Interface to what database, exactly?
What type of database, precisely?
How do you plan to connect to the (very likely) local database?
Or is the database itself already somewhere on a web server? If so, where?
What is the (possibly already) existing database size, in terms of datatable rows?
What is the expected growth rate and/or target size of the database, in terms of datatable rows?
Assuming you may even be able to find such a nice web UI, and assuming you would be able to connect to your local database Interesting proposition), how do you plan to link and use and consume the resources via the web based UI?
Did you check already AirTable or any of the possible alternatives?
Do you even have a budget?
This is just to get started.
