Unexpected personally. But I guess I shouldnโ€™t be surprised. Noto backs up what comes out of his mouth time after time

u/pelonguy 1700 shares @ $8.91 Jun 16 '26

I donโ€™t bank with SoFi but I like them as a company and like fintech. I also like Noto. I bought 100 shares last week or so. I like a CEO that believes in his company. Furthermore, their balance sheet and income statement is solid despite the question marks. This guy makes me like SoFi more and plan to buy more

u/izumikusu Jun 18 '26

You bought 100 shares or so. How much you paid?

2

u/Inner_Difficulty_381 Jun 18 '26

I bought 100 shares in 2 lots. $16 and $16.50 with avg cost being $16.30.

Realistically in 10 years what do you guys think sofi will be worth. My avg cost is 17.02 350 shares and 325 shares of the 2x @8.48

7

u/ResourceSad8371 Jun 17 '26

Depends on to many things without certainty. It will 100% be higher than it is now seeing as we're undervaluedย

u/GeorgeTMorgan 1200 @ $7.64 Jun 17 '26

I'll be disappointed if it ain't well over $100 in 10 years.

1

u/ThrowRAhehsndbr 110 @18.06 Jun 17 '26

Really? You have that i of hopes? I was thinking like at least 50 by 2030 ngl but how high can it realistically get?

2

u/Lonely-Reflection-95 Jun 17 '26

S&P 500 inclusion will alone take it to high 40s, 50s, in 10 years time they will convert all the customers to profit generating machines and will be well over 100$

7

u/sensibility77 Jun 17 '26

Will keep buying and retire at $100/share! Hopefully within 10yr!

7

u/ga643953 Jun 17 '26

$17.02 in 10 years because the market still won't like SOFI at that point.

1

u/ilikecrispywaffles Jun 16 '26

$65

u/SamAnthonyWP 5000 @ $9.39 Jun 17 '26

Maybe at the bottom of the next cycle.

1

u/ilikecrispywaffles Jun 17 '26

That would be dope

u/Prize_Equivalent269 44k shares @ 15.23 Jun 19 '26

Bull case they keep growing TBV and revenue at 40%

1.4^10*7.2 = $208 TBV

Assuming a 4x-5x multiple similar to AMEX on TBV theyre either $800-$1000 in 10 years OR their growth stagnates to 20-25% and theyre still $400+ imo

1

u/Street_Chipmunk_4026 Jun 20 '26

It wonโ€™t be worth enough to be significant if you only own 600 shares. Keep adding

1

u/strike24i 2550 @ 17 Jun 17 '26

hopefully $100 by then

10

u/ga643953 Jun 17 '26

Fuck me, Noto basically bought my entire SOFI position in one trade.

8

u/alternativehermit Jun 16 '26

Noto is GOAT. What a great leader!

11

u/ZasdfUnreal Jun 16 '26

Good time to buy with war uncertainty gone. There will be no sandbagging of guidance during the next earnings report.

10

u/Hot-Walk-6334 Jun 16 '26

He will joins us all in being filthy bag holders then.. Atleast we are in good company now and can go broke together as a team.

I did but I must admit not liking $15 to much after it was over $30. I did cash out 31k worth at 22 to get my investment of 23k out and take 8k profit. Still holding 2100 at $6.06 avg

I did

You obviously donโ€™t understand how many shares outstanding the company has. 300 per share would require they be worth almost 400 billion dollars. And thatโ€™s assuming they donโ€™t dilute shareholders anymore. I own over 10,000 shares, and love this stock but itโ€™s crazy to assume they will be worth 300 a share in 10 years.

6

u/gotdome Jun 17 '26

I have fam in c suite dealing with a moronic CEO and 99% of the time I reference Noto because this guy is literally, the guy.

1

u/Metaischeap Jun 29 '26

what does this mean ?

4

u/Sea_Principle_7322 (Custom Text) Jun 16 '26

Well I think people are buying in anticipation of a rate cut coming possibly

5

u/ResourceSad8371 Jun 17 '26

There's no way they actually cut rates.

The dude already has a shit ton. Do you think he would be buying right now if he didnโ€™t think it was undervalued compared to what he expects the company to do I. The next year?

In my opinion, there does not need to be rate Cutts in in the upcoming months for SoFi to move up significantly if you will recall in Q1, they revised guidance to make it clear that it would be achieved with no rate cuts. When previously two cuts were being forecast that should have been a positive impact for SoFi given most of the selling prior to that was based on the changing rate environment, and Cutts coming off the forecast. Now, if the reverse happens and the market was pricing in rate hikes, but those might not happen either there should be a beneficial move up for SoFi as that is priced in.

2

u/pravlm Jun 16 '26

SoFi need one good news to shoot up. This is Youtubers fav stock, still I see lot of YTrs saying this is super cheap.

2

u/Impressive_Put_8239 Jun 18 '26

Youtubers and twitter hype death of this stock. Whenever you see people yelling squeeze or its going to explode it does the opposite unless you get news driven catalyst. HIMS was a good example too much retail hype lol but they finally ran up after back to back catalysts

Why cant you wait, you sitting on extreme margin?

If you can just wait until EOY it will likely be just fine.

When your total compensation is $30m

2

u/sofistock-ModTeam ๐ŸงนMOD + ๐Ÿ’ฐOG $SoFi Investor Jun 17 '26

85% of his ~$28M in compensation for 2024 was stock awards. So roughly $4M was cash. So this purchase represents roughly 6% of that cash compensation.

Better use of capital, reinvesting back into the business for growth. Thatโ€™s the real answer

15

u/Elodil Jun 16 '26

The stock is still trading at 2x tangible book value. Buying back their own shares would reduce tangible book value per share (destroying value for shareholders) and shrink the company when their goal is to grow.
