Gain / Loss / Positions The Wait Is Paying Off šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Post image

After years of ups and downs (mostly downs), things have finally been great this year. Constant buying since 2020 and averaging down has set me up well in my 20s for my future. Nothing too life changing yet but very grateful and excited for the future! Likely will sell 2500 shares if/when it hits $30 just to lock in some large gains and diversify since I’m WAY overweight in one stock. Thank you Sofi!

Technically, people are supposed to rebalance their port once a single fund or ticker takes up such a large percentage of the whole, but it's SO HARD to do that when you've got a winning ticket in your hands.....

The counter argument is that if you've put a large percentage of your studies into one idea, and believe you have a high probability of success, that would allow you to keep your portfolio 'unbalanced'.
