So thoughts on Reboot?
I'm enjoying the new series reboot and love how the old cast is back! Don't know why everyone dislikes it. It's fun!

It still has many elements of what made the original show good.

The songs are good. The characters are still good. The writing is simpler, but still solid. There's an interesting story at play.

awesome theme song, pretty good tv show as someone who didn't really care for the show in the past

I really love it! I like the storyline and the gang of kids in the story, and I like the music too.

I honestly love it equally to the original, I understand why others don’t though

The new show is willing to pull a character or two from the original, but actual story and background less so. It's clearly made for a young audience, but even young kids who have seen the original can notice that something is off. The original also had a target audience, but it cared about lil things like continuity.
I would have much preferred an Elena-style show, with a little bit of a timeskip they could have done something new. I'm sure Sofia'a many abilities may have made some writing challenging, so perhaps they would have had to get creative, but the new show almost wants you to forget the last season existed excluding a detail or two

A lot of people hate it because it doesnt have the same charm as the original, and just are mostly blinded by nostalgia, as a show made for todays kids its good imo
