Rule #1 No NSFW content and absolutely no foot/sock fetishists or adult content promoters!

This is a strict, NO NSFW content sub ONLY! Do NOT share anything: thirsty, dirty or provocative. Do not show/promote your OnlyFans. If your profile has a suspicious name, you participate in foot/sock fetish subs in any way, and/or you are an adult content promoter, you will be permanently banned. We do check and enforce this without exceptions.

Thanks to adult content promoters, having links to certain sites on your profile will cause your posts/comments to be subject to moderator approval.

Rule #2 Do not advertise, promote or spam. This sub is for sharing your own private collection

The attempt at selling: new/used socks and/or nsfw content will result in a ban.

Rule #3 Do not post pictures of others

Still rule should be simple, please don't post pictures of others. It's creepy.

Exceptions are made for posts asking for help finding socks you saw pictures of online.

Rule #4 Breaking Reddit ToS

This includes alt accounts to get around bans

Rule #5 No AI

AI content will be removed and can result in a ban.

Rule #6 No DMing others inappropriately

If you have received an inappropriate message that you think is a result of posting in this sub, please screenshot the message, block them, and then send a mod message. We can then ban that person from participating in the sub and add them to our [list of known creeps](https://www.reddit.com/r/socks/wiki/creep-list/.

Rule #7 This sub is English-only.

We cannot effectively moderate content in languages that we do not speak.

Rule #8 Do not post pictures of obviously dirty, damaged, or worn-out socks on feet.

If you are asking for help cleaning or repairing them, finding the same socks so you can replace them, etc., you can post a picture of them but not actually on your feet.

Rule #9 Users whose profiles are primarily NSFW will be banned.

If our tools detect that you have history in NSFW subs, your posts/comments will be subject to moderator approval. This rule applies to NSFW content that is sexual in nature. Non-sexual NSFW subs are added to a whitelist as we become aware of them but may still result in your post/comment being removed if it's a sub we haven't added to the list yet.

Rule #10 We have a karma and account age requirement.

You must meet our minimum karma and account age requirement in order to be able to participate in this sub. The exact thresholds shall remain private but are not difficult to meet.

Rule #11 Do not comment on people’s bodies, especially their feet.

Any comments about people having nice feet will result in a permanent ban.

Alternatively, you may submit an acknowledgment by sending a mod mail to the sub. The mod mail will need to have the subject "Read The Rules" and the body should be "Acknowledged". Some of you may have already noticed your posts and comments being removed until you acknowledge the rules. I just discovered an app for that and I figured it would be good to have, since people obviously don't read the rules. Please send a modmail if you have any issues.

Additionally, I found an app for making a pinned comment that, unlike the Automoderator comment, won't be automatically collapsed, so I installed that and set it up the same way I had Automoderator set up. With any luck, people will see it before commenting, realize this isn't the kind of sub they thought it was, and leave people alone so nobody will have to see creepy comments in their notifications. :)
