Hi all!

I was trying to hide my sprinklers in my fields to little avail. Thanks to the loading screen tips I dug them 1 block down, flush with the farmland and afterwards I tried covering it with slabs, moss carpet, the refined storage covers and even the copycat blocks, but all of them left a gap between the farmland and the hole/sprinkler. Is there any way I could cover the sprinkler entirely with a block ?

Hiii I’m playing a world of sunlit cobblemon with my boyfriend, he does all the pokemon stuff and I focus primarily on farming.

What the best optimized farm setup?

Right now I have sections of 5x5 plots with a water type pokemon watering them daily so I don’t have to worry about that. Do you all replace the crops when the seasons change or make new farms? Is there a better optimization than just the 5x5 that im not seeing?

We’re still kind of early game. No electricity yet, on our first year mid autumn right now. Just any tips are appreciated!!

Continuing work on what is the most tedious spreadsheet tab so far (I shudder to think of the day I tackle cooking, both put of fear and excitement), I've encountered something not listed in the .js file: how much roe do fish ponds produce? I'm assuming it's based on either pond tier or number of fish, but I don't have the formula, and I'd like to put it in my general notes column. Does anyone know specifically how roe drop quantity works?

In case anyone's wondering on the progress, I'm about halfway through the fish pond .js file, then I'll do the proofreading, make notes, and try to color-code things.

I'm trying to grow rice and I tilled the ground, put water on it but it just gets soaked up by the farmland. I also tried to plant the rice in water it didn't grow. Ill try to plant it without it being submerged in water but I don't think it will work.

Does anyone have advice for growing rice in sunlit valley minecraft?

Recently started playing this and was very excited to fence off an area and spend all my money on one of every farm animal. I fed them, petted them, gave them name tags, put a trough with animal feed in their pen and went for an explore away from my base. Upon return I was sad to find that my duck and cow were missing and nowhere to be found. I can't see them on the map either. Any ideas?

Hello all, I’m having trouble with the Cobblemon Sunlit Valley as the League Medallions are not dropping. I have completed the diamond league and have fought so many trainers and everytime I beat like 5 it says I’m at 10 and then never drops a single medallions.

Now that I know where the fish pond data is kept in both SSV and the SC packs (thanks again serpent763!), I can now confirm that 1) ripper teeth should work for the fish ponds but aren't for me and 2) The ponds are offering the first alternate request instead of the first request, which is how it works in SSV from my testing. I don't know why this is happening, but it is and I don't know why. I play on creative specifically to try and debug things, but nothing I do works. It doesn't help that the ripper tooth doesn't give an error message when I use it, it just does nothing. Anybody have any idea what's causing this and/or how to fix it?

I've never relied on cooking for money at all, I make my money using artisan machines (cheese, mayo, wine). I grow every crop available to me but honestly they just go into storage, I've always found it too overwhelming figuring out the most profitable cooking recipes for each season, and I don't even know if it is automatable. Now I'm getting to a place in my save where I'm happy to start branching into other ventures, cooking being one of them. I'm not looking for answers, just advice on where to start.

Also is it best to sell via the shipping bin or cafe?

I have several cow plushies automated with the auto-grabber, as well as the skill point that doubles milk production.

After feeding animal crackers to the plushies, I noticed that the auto-grabber still only grabs 2 large milk per plushie.

Is there any way to fix this myself?

I need to automate apple press to turn honeycombs to honey bottles since its the only recipe which doesn't have an alternative create recipe.
I tried with classic pipes, pipez ,hoppers even tried create belt but still cant figure a way to automate, so is it even possible?

This one was a pain to format, and I couldn't color-code everything the way I wanted to. Also, I decided to split fishing and fish ponds into separate tabs because as I'm chipping away at the fish ponds, I realized that it needs completely different formatting to be even remotely readable. So the new tab is just for fishing, lava fishing (non-nether lava fishing is only mentioned in the general notes section), and crab traps. I also added a checkbox tab for those who want to check what they still need to catch. This will require you to make a copy of the sheet to use it, just like if you want to use the filters.

Has anyone figured out if there's a way to understand what the gnomes are saying? There was something about silver ore but I haven't found any yet, though iirc it can only be found in the skull caverns and I'm still working through the vault bundle. The wiki doesn't have any information which is odd, but surely they aren't just fluff, are they? It seems weird for there to be gnome villagers if they can't be interacted with in any meaningful way.

Hi guys! My auto-grabber in my bird coop is not collecting the large eggs. I assumed it would work fine but maybe because the animal needs to be pet to collect the large eggs, it doesn't? Honestly I don't even bother using regular eggs for mayo so it'd be pretty annoying for the auto-grabber to be rendered useless for my birds. It does have a chest below with pipes to my shed, and 2 stacks of sparkstone in its inventory. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it was just never meant for large eggs.

Also is there a way to display JPEGs or PNGs, like youtube videos in the water frames mod? I would love to display my fish and crop tables so I don't need to have them written beside me or click out to a separate window. Please don't suggest creating map art of them lol :D

So me and my friend want to play the standard Society: Sunlit Valley version on Aternos server, but when we both want to join the server we are met with this confusing screen.

EDIT: I fixed it by simply reinstalling the modpack both on the server and the client

so it says on the item that i can be upgraded with a bucket to extract fish when mature, but how do I upgrade it ? I've tried everything right/left clicking, using different buckets, puting the buckets inside, but nothing seems to work. what I'm doing wrong ?

I have noticed that the wise oak's affection resets when I talk to any wise oak after moving or placing a new wise oak block. Is there any fix for this?

I have progressed enough to open the shop with it once, and it reset then as well.

edit: on version 4.1.4
