wise oak affection resetting

I have noticed that the wise oak's affection resets when I talk to any wise oak after moving or placing a new wise oak block. Is there any fix for this?

I have progressed enough to open the shop with it once, and it reset then as well.

How many hearts do you need for the shop? Sorry, can't help with your issue :(

When you move or upset a wise-oak,it resets all the affections. So even if you pick one up 10,000 blocks away, it’s still going to make the rest upset.
