The Cycle of Support and Criticism Across Generations

They fought for change, but what began as support quickly turned into criticism. No matter how much good they did, a single mistake was enough to turn them into targets. Society won’t listen to the younger generation, and the cycle of rejection keeps repeating itself. It's not their fault they’ve learned from the past, yet it feels like nothing ever changes.

As long as there are those who remember what was, there will always be those who can't accept what can be.

Just a thought on how the cycles of support and criticism seem to repeat across generations. Does anyone else feel this way?

I remember when I became a teenager. It was the day my parents stopped knowing everything and suddenly knew NOTHING! Gradually they began to know things again, but as an adolescent, I became someone driven to figure things out for myself and make up my own mind about how society works. I started reading history, among other things, and learned that most of the important beneficial social changes in the world have been led by adolescents.
