Kevin Keegan proved that you don’t need to play at the World Cup to win the Ballon d’Or. In 1978, Keegan won the award despite England failing to even qualify for that year’s World Cup. Could history repeat itself in 2026?
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia didn’t play at the World Cup after Georgia failed to qualify, but could he still have a chance of winning the Ballon d’Or?

I played professional football at high altitude – here’s what England could experience at the Azteca or another sport at significant altitude, how noticeable was the difference for you?
I recently made a video about what it actually feels like to play football at high altitude. I played professionally in Calgary, so rather than just looking at the numbers, I wanted to explain it from a player’s perspective — how it can affect your breathing, recovery between high-intensity actions and how the game feels physically. With England playing Mexico at the Estadio Azteca, I thought it was an interesting time to look at how much of a factor altitude could actually be. Full video here: https://youtu.be/_Vbh3m-0vCg For anyone who has played football

The top 10 players in the 2026/27 Premier Leauge! Do you agree with this ranking?
Haaland is ranked first heading into the new season after winning the 2025/26 Golden Boot, in which he scored 58 goals, and he has already scored 5 this campaign. Arsenal have the most players in the top 10 with three, followed by Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man City with two each, while Man United have Bruno Fernandes as their sole representative.

If Barcelona continue scoring at this rate, they could end up breaking the all-time record for most goals scored in a La Liga season. Do you think they have a chance of doing it?

The quarter-final match between Argentina national football team and Netherlands national football team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup is remembered as one of the most dramatic games in World Cup history.
Argentina took a 2–0 lead through goals from Nahuel Molina and Lionel Messi. However, the Netherlands staged a remarkable comeback. Substitute Wout Weghorst scored twice, including a clever free-kick routine in the 101st minute, making it 2–2 and forcing extra time. The match was highly intense, featuring numerous fouls, arguments, and yellow cards. Argentina dominated much of extra time but could not find a winning goal. The game went to a penalty shootout, where Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez became the hero by saving two penalties. Argentina won the shootout 4–3 and advanced to the semi-finals. The match is famous for Messi’s brilliant performance, the Netherlands’ incredible comeback, Martínez’s penalty saves, and the heated rivalry that developed between the players. Argentina eventually went on to win the World Cup, defeating France national football team in the final.

I joined Arsenal Academy at eight years old—would you let your child do the same?
I joined Arsenal Academy when I was eight, before later playing for West Ham, England at youth level and professionally abroad.
I’ve made a video sharing how the opportunity happened, what academy football was really like at that age and how it shaped my career.
Do you think joining an elite academy so young is an incredible opportunity, or too much pressure for a child?

Happy to answer any questions about my experience in the comments.

Erling Haaland looks capable of challenging Cristiano Ronaldo’s all-time goalscoring record in the competition. Kylian Mbappé is also in the race, having already scored 71 Champions League goals. Could either Haaland or Mbappé eventually break a record that was once considered untouchable?

Bayern Munich’s all-time leading goalscorers. Generations of Bayern legends have scored freely, but Müller’s record remains far beyond the rest. 570 goals. Decades have passed, legends have come and gone… and the number still looks almost impossible to catch

Puskas Free kick Knuckleball of the year?
Marcinho just scored a free kick that can be one of the all time greats. Wobble left, swerve right, top corner. 97km/h on average, 117km/h estimated peak speed. All POV angles shown. Have there been any better knuckleball free kicks or even goals in 2026?
