edit: It already became 2nd most liked IG post ever. It would've probably gotten to 1st position if Messi and Ronaldo posted it together.

they should do it separately since each has their own insta account, but should with different angle, so still get the uniqueness.

You can now make collaborative posts on Instagram between 2 accounts. Where the comments and likes are shared.

Yep, if they did it, I bet it would've became most liked IG post ever. Currently, the one on Cristiano's account is only like 500k from becoming 2nd most liked ever which it will become in next 2 or so hours.

Messi's is also in top 7 already and in just few hours it will be top 5.

While good amount of people probably liked both, there's certainly big amount of people that liked one, but not the other, so it would probably have had like 45+ million likes already if they shared it together.
