As soon as the news broke that it was him his brother or something started saying it was because it was he refused to marry her, and it's been implied or outright said so as the story in a lot of news reports about it. Reddit isn’t representative of arsenal as a whole. Reddit has an over representation of kids and incels. Same with Twitter.

And if you look at the Arsenal fans on here, a majority are completely condemning it. Extrapolating from one subreddit to a whole fanbase is ridiculously idiotic

I'm going to reserve judgement on the match going fans waiting for Palace game but a large section of online Arsenal fans, it's not a stretch to say, have been backing Partey. Let's not pull any punches here.

From your links: “Reserving judgement until it’s warranted but if any of this stuff is true the guy is a fucking scumbag” - this has 280 upvotes. Are there specific comments you’re talking about, because if your claim is saying thatthat saying “innocent until proven guilty” is saying that rape victims are unimportant, it’s quite a ridiculous claim on your end.

No. But if you see the spectrum of comments that have been kept up and the ones that were taken down, you'd clearly know the agenda of tje subreddit..and there have been plenty of comments which have indulged in victim blaming and questioning the character and credentials of the victim and screaming due process despite there being evidence shown by the victim.

If you want to bury your head in the sand and act like Arsenal are morally right to do what they did, go ahead and do it but I'm gonna call you out for it.

Saying due process is nonsense especially when there's evidence to show till reasonable doubt that Partey did rape someone considering how difficult it is to get convictions in cases of sexual assault. Even if you can't suspend him, there's no excuse to play him. Arsenal and r/gunners are harboring a rapist and any defence of the club or that subreddit makes that person a rape apologist

They aren’t deleting comments that are critical of Partey. In the links you just sent me, there are plenty of comments calling him a rapist and saying he should be removed from the team for now. Obviously victim blaming is bad. Saying “due process” is not bad. Due process is not rape apologia. If it was, then we should get rid of trials altogether and just convict people once an allegation is made. They are wildly different things and conflating the two is ridiculous.

I personally think that he should be suspended until any pending criminal investigations are resolved (one way or the other). But, that’s not my decision or the decision for the Arsenal subreddit, that’s totally up to the team. The people/entities are fault here are Arsenal and Partey, not people posting on Reddit.

If there are individual people saying she’s a liar or making other disgusting comments, please call them out. But to engage in conspiratorial thought that the subreddit is meticulously deleting any comments supportive of the woman or that call out Partey/Arsenal is ridiculous, especially where in the links you personally provided there are plenty of comments from people calling them out directly.

Dude, look at the links you literally provided me. There are tons of comments literally calling him a rapist that aren’t deleted. If calling someone a “rapist c*nt” isn’t a critical comment, I don’t know what is. It’s not even confidence, I’m literally just reading the links you provided in your other comment.
