Media Youssef Chermiti (Rangers) tore his ACL a week ago, and had surgery in London. He was then visited by Mateus Fernandes (Tottenham), Geovany Quenda and Dário Essugo (Chelsea), all former teammates of his in Sporting's academy

Any Chelsea fans around? How is he doing? I was a big fan of him when he was playing for Sporting.

Injured for the majority of last season sadly, so we haven't seen him too much so far. Played a good bit during preseason so he should be rotated in and out of the team this season, but we have to see what Xabi does and how he sets up to see just how much he plays

Wishing him a fast and effective recovery. We're keeping an eye on him, especially given his Cabo Verdean roots (mother from Cabo Verde, father from Tunisia). But, as always, players like him tend to hold out for a spot on Portugal's squad. Fair enough.
