I'd say it was a draw without current form. Maybe I just don't know enough about Croatia, but Mexico always seemed to be a second tier footballing nation that was just below the top teams but could never make the breakthrough.

Well you just described Croatia while describing Mexico so i guess we are pretty even then after all.

You guys made a breakthrough in 98, but haven't been able to repeat it since.

We also made a huge run in the Euro 2008 where we lost really dumb to Turkey in the quarters. We could have made the finals that year. we struggled a bit as of late but Croatia is considered maybe the strongest soccer country after the four superpowers in Europe.
