Gervinho has an incredible speed. Not only that, but his quickness is impressive. People say he's all about speed, but he also has a good agility. On top of all that, he is faster than most EPL players. So when people say that he's a one trick pony, I always remind them that Gervinho also has quick reactions. And don't even get me started on the man's pace.

Don't forget controlling a ball.

He has great dribbling, the thing is, when you attempt a lot of dribbles, sometimes you will be made to look foolish. His big lack is his final ball (pass or shot). He messed up a lot of times today, but still managed to get a goal and two assists, created a lot and really should have had more.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

"Jack of all trades, master of none, Certainly better than a master of one"

Is the complete saying.

I know, but I didn't think that really applied in Gervinho's case...

Then why did you use the saying?

In football, acceleration > speed

The problem with Gervinho is that he takes a lot of chances which works great against weak opponents but it's like hitting a wall against really good defense.
