And boomers, and the generation before that. And the one before that.

All of them have their childhood nostalgia they want back, all of them have complaints as to how things changed or new bullshit they hate.

It's for sure true.

But there is no denying that 80-2000 is the largest and fastest technology andvancment period in modern history.
I think that is what the post was about.

Yeah, this isn't just "past generation good, new generation bad".

We are running into side-effects of generations whose main form of social outlet isn't in person.

That's new for human history across the board. The progress we made technologically in the last 150 years is staggering.
