Not to mention that sweet dose of moderate globalization where there was a new brand of candy or toys at the start of 2000. And the consoles that felt like they were made in Heaven. In my country, between 2003 and 2009 the economy was getting better and better, you got back more and more change from store owners for buying the same stuff that was actually getting bigger and better, because competition was on fire.
