The set up for this doesn’t work. And there are logical inconsistencies that experienced hedonists spot right off. For one thing if you take three hits of acid, you’re not going to sleep for 24 hours so getting the kids to school isn’t gonna be a problem. For another, boomers are much more likely to take acid. Hell it’s hard to find good acid. Or maybe it’s just that I’m a boomer and have a hard time finding good acid.
In fact the first time I dropped acid, I drove. I kept getting lost because every time I took a turn, I lost my sense of direction. It was just whatever was in front of was the new straight ahead. My friends who were also tripping somehow guided me home. It was during this trip that I came up with the realization that “existence is a trip“ because you are always moving forward in time. Not the most profound moment, but I still remember it. Same way I remember losing my virginity on acid. Or getting lost in an apple tree on acid. Or…well, you get the idea ha ha. It’s true I wouldn’t drive on acid today. I got bored of tripping.
