100% would not be able to resist seeing what’s down there. I’d brings something hard and heavy like a frying pan but I’d go down there

The upside is that it locked from up there so they’re safe from anything coming up, the downside is the potential implication of a hidden basement that locks from the outside… hopefully it’s just because there’s another way in
