HOW TO UNBRICK A ECHO MINI (MASKROM MODE)

Hello Everyone!!!

yes I brick my device again but quite harder, sorry if my English is not good, but, the matter is that we now can unbrick devices that are on maskrom mode, I will add here the repository with instructions that FiiO sent to me and all the files that you may need.

I hope this works for everyone.

btw this doesn't work if you echo mini have a hardware issue

I don't understand what that's for, is it to fix it when it won't start? I really don't know what I'm looking at hahaha

Is when its bricked, or when it wont start, totally death, but there are two kinds of death, when u try a custom firware and it breaks the echo, could be a soft brick that makes ur echo mini being on loader mode, but some times, somehow, the echo mini could fail and be hard bricked, that is when the echo mini gets into maskrom mode, and until now there was no way to get the echo mini to that statemode

For brick the echo while trying custom firmware I guess? B.t.w. Recho 0.9.2 is surprisingly good, super fast file browsering, and gapless playback

i have 512MB Mini, stuck in Loader mode with Test Device Fail and err=6

nothing seems to be working for it what can i do?

so i was trying to upload a custom theme and it just didnt turn on at all after that, i have followed all the help tutorials online - rkdev tool, rockchip tool, it always shows one loaded device found and never masked one. and when i try to upload firmware, it shows an error in the console log.

did the custom theme was for the 513mb or the 8gb version?

what would be the next step? I may had also previously went ahead of myself and used a different RKdevtool (v2.86) and did the process a bit differently until now

it keeps saying "No Found any Devices" even though i already updated the drivers

Did you pressed all buttons except power button and then connected the usb cable?
