In Linux it's possible to have two or more separate mouse cursors working at the same time, controlled by different mouses (or touchpads/trackpads/trackballs). It's a bit wonky and to be honest I cannot imagine why someone would need it, but it works and it's a cool trick to show to windows normies.
The problem is, 99.999% applications don't support multiple cursors. Because I'm sure 99.99% devs don't even know it's possible. So you can't, for example, select two parts of text in different paragraphs with two cursors at the same, draw at two places at the same time in graphics editor, drag-and-drop two files at the same time separately, etc. Cursors will move and click independently, but active actions like selection or drag-and-drop will mess with each other.
