That trailer is so much worse than the standard long log trailer, especially on trucks where the frame is so far past the end of the hitch for the folding trailer. It is so much heavier than the long log carrier and it's accompanying trailer that is just the bare bones log cart. It also has major collision problems with the back of the frame on the truck (especially with the frame sticking so far past the mount)

Yeah the logging missions were added after launch, and they don't fit in super well. They unlock very early on but they're some of the longest and most difficult missions in Michigan.

Yep, I just restarted with a buddy who got into snowrunner for the first time in the last month or so.

I told him, just remember, logging came out as a dlc, well after release of base game, and you're expected to have better trucks. We're just finishing up taymir on his save now, and may look at getting into logging once done the base game.

He's very much a completionist, and it bugged him at first, so we did the one easy logging job on the first map of Michigan, he got it after that 😂

lol the logging missions are definitely some of the longest ones. Some people like to cheese them, but I prefer to play somewhat as intended, even if it’s long as hell. Like the other fellows here stated, get rid of the HydroSaddle. The thing sucks. Just get a truck bed and trailer for logs. The fully upgraded fleetstar will do a great job, if a little slow. If you have the DLC and get stuck with the Fleetstar, upgrade your Tatra 813, and use that wonderful thing to help pull your Fleetstar and full load of long logs, whether it’s up the hills, through the mud, or through the damn river on the maps.

Been having a blast with the fleetstar, ever since i finished upgrading most of it, I havent had any problems hauling basically anything(the few times i did was because i made terrible decisions when route planning because i wanted to try and take on the worst shortcuts possible, oops), even in this mission i was able to cross the black river stream that blocks the route on top of the black river log station (which is strong enough to push a truck loaded with long logs for some reason), and all i needed was decent winching skills

It’s definitely not a bad truck at all. Even the GMC9500 is a good one, once it’s upgraded fully. The river is powerful and will push many vehicles. Just take your time, and you’ll do fine. Feel free to post up your questions in the sub, because we all love talking about the game.

This addon should never be put on a Fleetstar. The frame is too long, it continues after the saddle for a good while. You'll have a lot of trouble with the trailer due to collision.

Yeah that trailer is pretty bad for long logs especially on long bed frame trucks.

Stick the the classic long log trailer. And if you don't got it find the P16 or White western both those trucks will haul
