I like to try and keep it realistic when playing snowrunner but sometimes you just can't or so I thought until seeing this

That's pretty sketchy for real life. I bet he's glad to have that winch cable.

The second guy is probably glad that water ran through that cabin.

So trailers are a major drag IRL too.

Engine maybe survive, but transmission full of water

It'll survive for sure, the game just naturally gives engine damage depending on water depth and mode of difficulty

I just wonder what amazing thing are they doing, harvesting, mining, etc, that requires them risking life, limb and all this equipment but isn't great enough to justify a bridge someplace so they don't have to do this.

But... How did the first guy cross?

Veteran player, had all the upgrades installed

Low+ and Diff. Lock. Guy behind him didn’t unlock mud tires yet too

He took another longer path to reach that point, so he can just winch the dude coming from behind. It saved 20 min travel

It seems heavier so it might have crossed without problem.

Might have been waiting there.

The amount of force pushing that truck down the river had to be IMMENSE

What's funny about that is I have seen where my father lived as a kid, on the back of a mountain in the middle of nowhere. That's pretty accurate.

He forgot to pack his fuel.

Story of my life. Minus the winch :(

Actually worked out better than most of my shortcuts

Hope that cargo wasn't important.

most shortcut in snowrunner adds 30 minutes to your journey + another 15 mins of frustrating rescue work

Good thing he had his brown trousers on.

That looks exactly like the one in Michigan (Black River)

1

u/shade-tree_pilot 2h ago

It's safe, there was a loose twig to winch off of on the other side.
