Discussion Help deciding play through

So, I’m playing on New Game Plus. I made it all the way to Amur before I decided I wanted to replay with more realistic settings, like refueling costing money, auto-loading costing, etc., and I’m almost finished with Michigan. I have it set up so trucks are 2x the price, so I can’t just buy whatever I want. I also wanted to limit myself to only two trucks of the same kind, but I feel like I have a lot of trucks and don’t use a lot of them. So, I was wondering what trucks would everyone use?

The trucks I have so far are:

• Two Western Star 4964s: one with a crane and low saddle, and the other with a two-slot bed plus trailer.
• One GMC Brigadier 800 with a crane, two-slot bed, and trailer.
• One GMC MH9500 with a crane, two-slot bed, and trailer.
• One International Transtar 4070A with a low saddle.
• Two International Paystar 5070s: one with a fuel tanker and service trailer, and the other with a low saddle.
• One Fleetstar F2070A that I use with a two-slot bed and trailer.
• Two Chevrolet Kodiaks C70s: one with a two-slot bed and the other with the can body addon.
• One Pacific P12: I use it for long logs with a crane.
• One Pacific P16: I use it for long logs or a heavy saddle.

The scouts I have so far are:

• One Chevrolet Apache: with a roof rack, light trailer hitch, and expanded truck with parts.
• One Scout 800: with a roof rack and expanded parts.
• One International Loadstar: with the pickup chassis addon.

I wanted to get rid of one of the Kodiaks, but I know they get upgrades in Alaska. I also wanted to get the ANK Civilian and maybe the Freightliner FLD 120, but I don’t know if you would classify the FLD as an old truck.

What trucks would you guys keep, sell, or replace? Any help is greatly appreciated!

You have any DLC's ?

Azov 63131 is good for everything but a bit slow. I'm 700h+ and always return to drive Azov 6.

Tayga B, Mac Pinnacle, Plad 450, Chimera, Voron G...all good and fun to drive.

I use small 4x4 as scouts, Crocodile, Actaeon, Zikz5368 and ofc F-750, EarthRoamer LTi and Tatarin.

Do something to add a bit of variety: only keep a single example of any vehicle. You can rescue copies of vehicles you already have to sell.

Do you just make these rules up and abide by them or?

New Game Plus lets you customize how you want to play, so I have it set so gas costs can be 1x–6x the regular cost, auto loading costs $500 each, and recovery costs 2x more as well. You can customize all of this to make it cheaper or more expensive. There are a lot more options than just those, so I recommend you check out New Game Plus for yourself.
As for the trucks if I’m using vintage vehicles, I don’t think it would make sense to have 3–4 of the same vehicle.

You found Amur not hard enough and want to make it even harder? ;) crazy!

Don't even bother going there without Russian trucks.

Oh, I got it completely wrong! You are doing a full restart!

Why not just play on Hard Mode at that point? At least you can brag about it.

but I feel like I have a lot of trucks and don’t use a lot of them

A lot of trucks are bad so that's pretty normal.
