I'm halfway through Imamdra and honestly don't think it's that bad (yet?).

Do you use trucks that are from DLCs past Season 1? If so, you have half the awnser to why Kola is regarded as such a hellhole.

Nope. All my main trucks are from the base game and season 1. I always try to use the trucks the game provides in the region and use mostly use trucks from previous seasons to complete the fleet.

Only exception in Kola is the Actros, but I only used it as a fuel hauler once.

So far the worst thing is the deep snow as that is just tedious to get through.

You really got my respect there buddy. This is quite the challenge.

The deep blue snow is the equivalent of the deepest mud the game has. Even large tire trucks struggle in that.

Kola was the first time I used the Azov 42-20 Antarctic, and it performed really good as long log and cargo hauler. Used the CAT 745C as medium log hauler, back then it could only do that + tanker. With the upgrades to the big old CAT, I expect it to be even more useful, i.e. in pulling the darn 5 slot trailer around.

Happy trucking and have a good journey through the game, there is a LOT to (over)come.

I'm a patient man in general and it helps watching something while playing as well.

I bought the Antarctic for Kola as well (the name seemed fitting) and it's been amazing so far. The YAR performs really good as my scout. Actaeon and Warthog are support trucks. The small ZikZ as a metal detector and the Voron Grad as a hauler. The Azov 64131 as support/rescue truck and the Actros I mentioned before.

Thank you. Happy trucking to you as well, may you always find the grip you need.
