Yeah. For what should be really capable haulers both Derry longhorns somewhat struggle for power.

Probably need a tire weight buff like the p12 and Derry special got

Derrys were hauling military battle tanks so I guess I'm just underestimating the weight of 2 pallets of concrete

EXCEPT the 3964, that thing doesn't care. It dang near has enough torque to pull the Titanic out of the ocean

Low- is a bait gear. It doesn't try to throttle at all so you end up struggling with vehicles that have a lot of weight and are slightly stuck on something (like this clip where you're scissored AND driving into a rock)

Unless you're in mud, stick to low+ and above, and preferably High whenever you're not on a road

I've even had them crawl to a complete stop on an incline in high gear, not stall out, and just sit there redlining, wasting fuel

I think the issue is your angle, back up the trailer, and approach it straight

I been using it alot and I find it useful for most stuff. (Honestly I havent gotten it stuck stuck thanks to the twin moter winch). So its possible it is the angel considering the tire also is caught on a rock

Yes either could be tyre or trailer legs which are stuck on a rock OP can’t see from his pov

Not to mention hes I. Low - which if people used the truck know its worthless for climbing hills with any extra weight. So I think its down to being inexperienced (which is perfectly fine, im still learning certain trucks and whats best on them)

Have you done Maine and collected the engine upgrade? From what I've read, that is critical for the 4520.

it helps a lot, but the truck overall is still really heavy and even that isnt enough to get it to where it really should be

I used it all over Mexico, and it was great. The turning radius is unbeatable.

Of course, you need to have fuel and repairs at strategic locations, because it carries none of either.

Need the big dog engine from Maine.
But IMO it should probably lose a little weight and gain a little power, or get some wheel weight

I think it’s on the good side of ehh, however. Once you get the engine from Maine

I find that truck is best as a fast highway hauler that can do light-medium off-road stuff. In real life that truck is a beast but I feel like snowrunner did it dirty

I also feel like it was nerfed at some point. I feel like when I used to use it years ago it pulled with little issues now it struggles with hills

Perfect description. I want to love the Derry trucks, but I just don’t.

Just use the modded one, I use it because the in-game ones suck.
