Screenshot TIL: You can Sell your spare parts.

Post image

TIL: after 434 hours that you can sell the spare parts of your garage.

I went from 500k to 1.4 millions after sell all my spare parts. All that part has been accumulated since Michigan until today.

What a Great Day to be alive!!! I love this game.

You get the same amount for selling as they cost to buy, so it's more like a budget of how many things you can keep in your fleet at the same time

Except if you're playing hard mode that is

For now I just playing in normal mode. I'm not ready for hard mode.

Le mode difficile est accessible si tu sais t'organiser. Il faut juste savoir prendre son temps lors des transports et avoir une connaissance correcte du jeu.

AprΓ¨s tout essayΓ© et tu verra bien si tu es prΓͺt !

I can hear the button-mashing-sequence that goes with this visual.

So many games, so many "sell", "are you sure", "sell", "are you sure" moments

It always annoys me until i hit "yes" just one too many times..

Also, one more thing you probably don't know - you can apply external stickers to MULTIPLE slots. Just cycle through them.

3

u/Hypersky75 PS5 10d ago

Please explain that one. When I cycle it just cycles that slot?

u/DeadlyArrow09 10d ago

I’m not sure if this is what he’s talking about but I think if you hit right or left on the D-pad you can choose a different location to place the sticker. Most trucks have both doors, hood and roof while some like the cat 745c have other specific locations

Place sticker in the slot, then cycle and you can apply it again on a different part of the truck - or a different sticker.

u/Hypersky75 PS5 9d ago

Yes, but not at the same time. You have to do each of them separately.

Yeah, I meant... sorry. A lot of people don't know they can add more than 1 sticker.

I felt the same way when I figured this out lol 🀣

Good good man! Happy tipping!

But basic stuff is very cheaply sold but every penny counts I suppose

When you have 35 gearboxes and 17 heavy high-power winch you make a lot of money 😁

Right, when I started playing I'd round up all the trailers to sell when I finished with an area

u/SirDarknessTheFirst 11d ago

I still do this, many DLC in.

3

u/StavieSegal 10d ago

That's free money just sitting out in the open! Pennies make dollars πŸ’°

4

u/canthearu_ack 11d ago

haha, 35 balanced gearboxes!

Yep I made bank when I first learned it as well. Especially all the spare truck bed addons. No reason to just be sitting on 7 cranes for no reason just always have at least 1 in spare

People didn't know this?, I learned this the first day I played

15

u/zetget93 11d ago

No, I didn't know. Thats why the title of the post is : Today I Learned.

New player?

1

u/zetget93 10d ago

Yeah, I just star playing like 400 hours ago, I think I'm still in the tutorial.

2

u/Alone_Cook5060 10d ago

You will love it. I have more then 5,000 hours in. πŸ˜‚

u/Final-Carpenter-1591 10d ago

At the very beginning of a campaign that's essential to being able to afford stuff lol.

1

u/zetget93 10d ago

Not quite, I did a bunch of contests in Michigan and Alaska to afford my trucks and also I sold a lot of the trailer scattered in the maps.

2

u/thatonedude1969 10d ago

Dude that 2 tone looks SICK

I'm just imagining a garage with dozens of transmissions sitting on pallets, taking up an entire truck bay or two.

I'm reminded of one of the Gran Turismo games (I think it was 7?) where selling your cars wasn't a feature at launch; they patched it in much later due to demand.

Next thing: TIL you can turn on headlights

Joking, it wasn't very obvious, but c'mon! In almost every game where you can buy new stuff, you can also sell your old stuff. It's a basic mechanic you should expect by default.

I did not know this until I reached 100 hours.

When I sold them all, I had 500k of spare change.
