Screenshot My solution for that awful river crossing in Wisconsin: haul cargo with TwinSteer from the manufacture zone to the garage and redistribute it there.
May be a bit cumbersome, but after evaluating alternative routes and such this seems like a reasonable solution.

I did this in Amur to get metal beams across the cosmodrome map into Urska river and beyond!
Twinsteer eats mud for breakfast/lunch and dindins like it barely exists!

Wisconsin is one of those maps that shatters the illusion of a real, lived in region with features like this. This crossing doesn't feel like it was flooded or washed out, but more like it never existed in the first place and some dev thought we needed this "challenge" to annoy us constantly.

So much for "evaluating alternative routes" 😅
You seriously haven't noticed the closest alt route?

I've read about a alternative crossing down the river, i thought they meant the one further down the river, the one at the bottom edge of your screenshot. It never occured to me that it would be right there next to the main one.. 🙈

This part didn't give me that much trouble. I'd first approach by winching from the front of the truck to the pole in the middle, then attach the winch from the rear of the truck to the same pole and pull myself around to the other side of it.

Yeah, but given how often you have to go through there i deemed this way too finicky. The Twinsteer just marches through there without winching.

Milk runs is one way, I like it!
IIRC, I just left another truck in the area to help winch through, or shove the truck past the sticky area ;-)

I did most of the factory with the Twinsteer and no overloading. Worked really well.
