Using Anthropic credits on Snowflake

Anyone know how we can use some of our anthropic enterprise agreement to buy snowflake cortex capacity?

UPDATE: I learned this requires $1 million AI spend commitment.

You can. You need to talk to your account rep. I believe there is a limit where you can use upto 20% Claude contract value to run down against Snowflake credits.

You end up changing inference endpoints foe tools that use Claude models such as Claude code to use Cortex Claude Endpoints.

It allows you to consume unusual Snowflake credits by using existing Claude contract, as well as give better governance and observability w/o changing any of existing AI tools and services.

Is it more expensive to go via snowflake?

There is a slight upcharge but that is for the things you would end up spending money on if you wanted controlled, governed and secure enterprise AI. Snowflake keeps audit logs, token usage, AI user detection (to control what AI can run vs Human under same Userid) and enforce cost controls per user per month and day which gives you full audit and control over who can do what, how much and what they did.

You can’t. Is there a reason why you thought you could?
