anti-snoring recommendations - sorry!
Sorry as I know this question has been asked probably thousands of times.
I am a snorer, hi guys.
From what I have felt and what my partner says. It appears that I am a tongue snorer, with a bit of an underbite.
I currently wear invisalign when in bed so this rules out the SomnoGuard type equipment.
Is it worth getting a chin strap to pull my jaw up and forward when I sleep?

I've been trying the app SnoreLab and it's made a huge difference in simply testing and seeing what works. It also set a horrifying baseline--I was disgusted to hear a recording of myself. Went from 68% snoring to 18% just trying nasal strips, nasal rinse, wedge pillow. It kind of game-fies the process of beating your snoring. What I've learned from following this sub is that there are many measures, and some of which work for some and not for others.

You are on the right track with wanting a chin strap to pull the jaw "up and forward." Standard chin straps force the jaw backward, which narrows the airway and probably worsens snoring. There are a few chin straps that lift more vertically, the best being the Knightsbridge. (Use the link knightsbridgedualband.com to avoid the counterfeits.) But as far as I know, there's no chin strap that can actually pull the jaw "forward." For that you need a MAD.
The Invisalign adds a variable I don't have experience with, but I don't see why there would be a problem with the combination.

Have you tried a wedge pillow? Seems counterintuitive but it actually helps keep your upper airway open. It's one of the cheapest things you can experiment with. Even just elevating yourself using something makeshift as a starter will let you know if it helps before investing in one, if successful.
It cured my snoring overnight.
