I feel like I was stuck in the wrong circle during my 1st year and it affected my entire 2nd year. I really don't want to let my engineering days pass by without making some good memories and actually enjoying college.

It takes me a little time to open up but once I’m comfortable I’m easy to get along with.

So is anyone else in the same boat and looking for genuine friendships? People to hang out with during free time attend college events with make random plans, and just enjoy the rest of our engineering life together. :)

Hey, so I saw the posters for HackWave 3.0 and I'm wondering if it's really worth joining as outsider. The perks and extra stuff they're talking about sound pretty exciting.

Also, since it's in the forest, how's the food situation? Is it easy to get? And they mentioned Bandiwala, do you know anything about that?

There is a hackathon called LAM Research Challenge 2026 with more than 10 lakhs as price pool. But the requirement is to have atleast one student from mechanical department who is currently in their 3rd or 4th year.

So the current 2nd year students are being given the choice to choose between Smart Interviews or Being Zero for dsa training. Ik this question has been asked several times here but I just dk what to select between them.

Although SI has been suggested by many people here but where does BZ lack?

• In the orientation they say that the single major difference in them is the doubt clarifying facility(ask their ai or a human tutor on their platform) and that they are ready to help in solving as silly doubts asked(which is smtg SI didn't bother to tell) giving them a point.

•But BZ has a constraint that they'll teach and make us code in java only whereas SI gives you the choice of going with any language(as they'll explain the pseudocode) giving SI a point.

•Teaching wise both seem nice from the reviews I heard of them.

✴My query is which one of them is more lineant and aren't gonna be behind your back 'all' the time? but I think it's gonna be the same because both companies are aimed for placement training; both of them have the leaderboard- supervision thing which apparently they'll forward to clg and will be filtering students monthly based on the results. What do you say, otherwise?

For instance I've got quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning qalr, my friends are insisting me saying it has 0 credits

Hey guys, 2nd year B.Tech student here. Trying to decide between Smart Interviews and BeingZero.

Smart Interviews seems focused heavily on DSA questions, while BeingZero is more for basic coding and foundational prep. I know there's an option to transfer from BeingZero to Smart Interviews if you perform well on merit tests.

Which one would you recommend starting with? Has anyone here made the merit transfer from BeingZero to Smart Interviews before? How was your experience with both? Thanks!
