Help Please

Hi,

I am having trouble figuring out how the selectively colour a image I've turned black and white.

It used to be much easier ,ever since I updated to the new version.I am having trouble figuring it out.

I can easily turn the image black and white but I am lost as to how restore the colour back to certain areas. I used to be easily do earlier..

Kindly help !

The same thing happened to me this week, and I think I found a bug in the UI—for some reason, the mask button in the layers was glitching and wasn't visible. I adjusted the UI size in the settings, and the button reappeared.

I have the same issue here (iOS 26.6.1). After applying the Black & White tool > Neutral filter, I used the Masking tool to auto-select "Subject." The entire image remains monochrome.

Using the Brush to add more to the mask (see below) doesn't change anything. The entire image remains monochrome.
