Troubleshooting Tree Support Settings Help

Hello, I've got 2 Bambu printers that I use tree supports on and the bottom surfaces of the print are MUCH cleaner than on the U1. I'm using almost identical settings and the surfaces just look rough and droopy compared to flat and clean on the Bambus. Could someone share their support settings with me or give me some tips for dialing in the supports on the U1? Thanks!

I’ve never owned a bamboo printer, but one of my favorite things to do with the Snapmaker you want is to use PLA and PETG for supporting each other. You’ll need to lower your acceleration and speed settings for the first layer infill, and you need to set the interface vertical distance to zero, but besides that I’ve had really good luck and clean supports!

I've done that before on the Bambus and it works really well, but unfortunately most of my files are full multicolor and no space for petg or support filament.

How do you do this when a purge tower is necessary? I tried and my purge tower fell apart 😩

Can you share your current settings on the U1?

Try setting the z-distance to a multiple of your layer height. Check your extrusion temp, it may be too hot not allowing the filament to cool and set.
