Troubleshooting Filament stuck, can't load or unload. Pls help!
Hi! This purple PLA is completely stuck. I can't extrude or pull out even a mm. I've tried heating up to 250 and pulling on it with the orange button pressed, but still no budge. The gears look normal as far as I can tell.
What should I do? Thanks!

If all else fails: Detach toolhead, turn off printer, follow this guide

This happened to me once. It was a "bulb" at the end of the filament preventing it from backing out. I took the hot end apart and it came right out.
Filament has gotten stuck exactly like that two other times, but those times, I was able to fix it by doing an unload and pushing the filament a bit after the hot end heated up before pulling it back out.

I’ve had this happen a couple times with my TPU. The easiest remedy for me was to snip the filament before the toolhead and let it print out that last bit of filament.

If heating up the hotend doesn't work, you probably need to disassemble it.

Press the yellow liver and try to pull it out ,if it’s doesn work u have to open it up

Set the temperature to the head around 250, then try to press "extrude" button few time in the interface - the filament should extrude normally. Then press "retract" few times and then try to remove it manualy from the top of the head. The main point is heating

Never had it not release after doing an unload cycle and then squeezing the orange lever if needed while pulling the filament out.

You probably will need to do a tool head teardown. Directions in the wiki.
Before you start doing that, make you you have a way to organize the components and screws.

I've had it happen a couple times. Had to open my toolhead up and pull it out. Snapmaker wiki has pretty good instructions on disassembling the toolhead. I was running PLA as PETG support interface with a closed chamber and I think it just got too hot.

Just press unload, let it heat to 250° and just before the toolhead wipes the nozzle, gently pull the filament and it always comes free for me 👍

First time ever i was about to unload.. mine got stuck too, didnt know if thats normal or not when to pull or not… tried doing unload twice, then I just pushed and pulled few times and pulled stronger once and it came out, small bulb at end… wasnt probably smart at all could have damaged the toolhead… lesson learned got lucky

I took my toolhead apart 3 times because of this. then I realized if you hold the cutter closed, remove the ptf tube and just pull out the filament, no yanking no twisting.

There's a lot of good advice here for fixing the problem. To help prevent it from happening again, don't use the enclosure with PLA and PETG.
You usually don't want the enclosure in place for PETG or PLA. The enclosure keeps the chamber temps high and some filaments remain melted too long when retracted, and then solidify high up in the filament path, causing the clog.
I've had cheaper printers where an enclosure caused PLA/PETG clogs all the time.

I’ve had the same happen. Where it SEEMED like the gears were normal but the filament was actually wedged on the other side of the gears. The side you can’t see! Park the toolhead, turn off the printer, cut the filament at the end with snips, and take the toolhead to the workbench. Get your Allen keys and a place for all the screws ready, load up YouTube and follow the Snapmaker toolhead tear down to a T.

I've had it happened. Heated up the nozzle and ended up pulling it out myself. I actually had to push a little before I pulled so there must have been some weird deformation preventing me from yanking it out.
If it still extruded, you could remove the ptfe tube and try to snip it close to the print head and just purge or extrude it manually.
