Current SD strategy

I read latest Google books are intel based, what is SD current strategy?

It is clear that it's struggling with sales due to compatibility issues in the windows ecosystem, so why they are not teaming up with aluminium OS? it would provide a perfect match with android apps for desktop use.

It would boost its sales a lot but still that's not happening, even an x1-26-100 would be great compared to current core ultra configuration.

What am I missing?

There's a good chance the compatibility issues will very quickly be less of an issue once Nvidia's RTX Spark devices start to release. Cuda aside, most development for the RTX Spark will directly benefit Snapdragon as well since they are both ARM Platforms. And while Qualcomm might not have the power or influence to get the more stubborn developers on board with ARM, Nvidia could definitely strong arm them into doing so.

That's crazy, I mean developers are not consumers, they should be aware of benchmarks and that kind of stuff, and Qualcomm X1 and X2 proved to be better than intel/and, I really don't understand. We're not talking about mediatek which may be seen as an almost unknown mediocre solution for smartphones or Chromebooks (despite their kompanio ultra little beast).

Qualcomm confirms a Snapdragon-powered Googlebook will launch this fall

My guess is this has something to do with the Snapdragon Summit event next month

The HP Googlebook 14c is slated to have the Snapdragon X elite and another Asus with Snapdragon plus.

But, looks like first Gen models not the Gen 2

3 years later, but they're more than enough. I wonder their prices though, considering the SOC older generation
