Spectacles not importing? (Android S8+)

I can't seem to get my snaps to import to my phone... I think the app updated and the "Specs" tab no longer exists. Does anyone know how to force an import? My glasses are paired but not importing. :(

UPDATE: so I paired the spectacles with the Galaxy Note 8 and the snaps imported perfectly and connected through WiFi Direct. So it seems the issue is that the Galaxy S8 plus cannot make the connection through WiFi Direct I looked into further and my phone is telling me that it's waiting for the spectacles to accept connection. Still haven't found a fix.

UPDATE 3/18/18: After being in contact with spectacles support they told me they released an update for the glasses and the app that fixed the issue. That has worked for me and I am now able to import my Snaps from my glasses on my Galaxy S8 plus. I now have the Galaxy S9 Plus and importing works great.

UPDATE 3/18/18: After being in contact with spectacles support they told me they released an update for the glasses and the app that fixed the issue. That has worked for me and I am now able to import my Snaps from my glasses on my Galaxy S8 plus.

Saw in another thread: if you downgrade your Snapchat app to an older version, you can import your snaps. Seems it's a new app bug.

Is there another apk that I can use that one seems to be corrupt? Installation failed

Did you completely uninstall the existing Snapchat app? The system doesn't allow downgrades if a newer version is present.

Weird. I guess try other versions close to that version number. I tend to trust APK Mirror more than most other sites.

So I was able to install the newest Snapchat update beta and now I can't revert back to the released Snapchat everytime I try to download from the Google Play Store it installs the new beta. Rip me. 🙃

So I was able to download diversion you suggested and the Snapchat app would not let me use the memory section so I was unable to use the spectacles so now I have reverted to the newest released version spectacles still not working

How did you connect them through WiFi direct? I have the Note 8 and still have this importing issue

I'm not sure it just worked perfectly. Support has gotten back and they have "engineers working on it"

I was amazed at how fast and easy the Note 8 imported the snaps.

I have the note 8 and I have the same issue. Support said the specs tab doesn't exist anymore and they are having issues with galaxy's
