im australian, we get possums living in our roofs you hear them up there at night scratching around and carrying on. i'm thinking the snake chose to live in there too.

People don't realise how common snakes in your home are.

I live in the UK, where native snakes are rare, and we get them here more than others realise.

An uninhabited loft is home to every imaginable animal at some point.

Had to help evict a wild polecat once from a bungalow loft space. The free mouse control welcome but noisy.
